You'll find a significant number of PCIe lanes, yet unless you really need them (which is rare), a 2700X is often more affordable while still supporting cheaper boards. Yes, the 1900X offers Quad Channel DRAM, but with only eight cores, that requirement becomes even less common. The single-core speed is also limited. In reality, most people would gain more value from a 6-core R5 3600 than an 8-core TR 1900X.
