Share your top Sans and Monotype choices here. Mine prefer Liberation Sans and Liberation Mono since they don’t take up too much screen space with just five characters, unlike DejaVu Sans. I also avoid FreeSans because it looks too minimalistic.

systemD's font configuration is bloated, so each application should use minimal font settings rather than relying on complex config files.

amd64 while macOS offers a higher DPI than most Linux systems (the virtual terminal strains my eyes with black-and-white output)
