Minecraft is one of those PC-intensive games that can quickly overwhelm even basic hardware. It works well on a modest Brazos APU but struggles with high-end setups. (If you revisit the 1.7.3 Beta version, performance improves significantly.) My setup with a 2600K+7970 chokes around 24 chunks. Past that, I can push to 1440p without issues. For other titles, I own a 7770, 7870, and 7970, aiming for a 290/X in the future—so testing should be enjoyable.

It looks like someone altered the GPU sheet. James may have made changes too, though his work is similar but on a different site at jameshumphries47.

What are the resolution, frame rate, game configurations, and CPU details you need?

It was heavily crowded at times, yet it looks like someone removed everything (they probably keep it elsewhere). Those three documents were completed by forum members for his website project focused on real-world performance estimates.

You must possess the ability to go back to earlier states of the document, making this issue manageable.

I understand he's not online at the moment, so I figured I'd clarify before anyone questioned why there are just two posts.

Playing GTA V on a GTX 650 at 45 FPS with 1080p resolution and 4790k brightness is achievable.
