I believe a thread listing games and their requirements would be helpful. People often share their experiences with different specs and settings. This could serve as a useful resource for others looking to play specific titles. I plan to update the original post with accurate information, but avoid any misleading details. Our goal is to support each other, not to act as an authority. The format might look like: Rocket League, War Thunder, CS:GO and so on. If someone mentions running a game on certain hardware, I can add that to the thread. Please let me know if this idea makes sense or if the mods should consider removing it. Thanks!

Occasionally the suggested specifications don’t match real-world performance. For instance, Minecraft hasn’t been played on any PC with maximum settings yet, which suggests a Java-related constraint.

It really matters. Few games list correct system needs.

Suggested specifications are acceptable. Expect varied performance during actual use.

I enjoy pushing settings to their limits and going beyond them on my machine. Apart from using OptiFine, it also boosts performance by providing higher FPS even at a render distance of 32 chunks.

Many titles I've encountered that display precise system specs are actually accurate ones, such as Homeworld, which lets you play on a small FireMV device. Most games I've noticed exaggerate their technical needs.

Getting the render at 32 breaks everything. My computer isn’t worth a joke.

I believe it's the combination of factors that makes buyers opt for two 980ti's, often leading them to engage with games they could manage on their own.
