Hey there, I'm on Windows 7 and really want to upgrade to Windows 10. I have a few questions though! 1) Are there any problems with Steam or Origin? 2) Do I need to transfer my files to an external drive and back, or will everything stay with me? (I haven't changed the OS before) 3) What are my overall thoughts? Would you give it a rating if you could? Thanks in advance!
Up to now I haven't encountered any problems with Steam and Origin. 2. Upgrading from your previous operating system will also remove your external HDD files. 3. I prefer the new Windows version—it runs much quicker and has a sleek design.
1.) I haven't seen that before.
2.) If you switch from the HDD you're using, it should just pull the files along. No extra steps needed—just click update.
3.) It's really nice. It works quickly and the appearance is great. Turn off privacy settings, though. Because of privacy concerns I rate Windows 10 an 8 out of 10.
