I haven't used it... I only watched his video where he reviewed it. It's a good watch, just like most of Linus's videos are. He always keeps it entertaining! But the number appears to represent core quality, I believe higher is better, though I'm not sure why. You can find a simple ranking in HWInfo64—both Ryzen's view for overclocking and Windows' thread scheduling. They differ because Windows' scheduler is architecture aware, trying to keep threads on cores that share resources like cache as balanced as possible when moving them around to manage heat.

This overclocking software is actually an optimizing tool, not for increasing processor speed beyond limits.

I'm talking about 1Usmus's ClockTuner program, whether it's meant for optimization or overclocking—it's probably just a matter of wording.

I disagree. The creator refers to it as an "optimizing" software. It shouldn't be called something else if it isn't meant for that purpose.

Only one person is stating it's not effective: the speaker of the message.

I shouldn't have included the word "effective" there.

I've always thought 'overclocking' and 'optimizing' mean the same thing, yet I'm not sure if others see it that way. Ryzenmaster is labeled as an 'overclocking software', 1Usmus calls it 'optimizing', but it's actually adjusting clock and voltage with Ryzenmaster.

It seems to be a matter of personal preference. I don't enjoy Ryzen Master, which makes me cautious about trying this program.

Ryzen Master provides effective monitoring of SW, and no adjustments are needed within it.

I notice that some users with specific processors are experiencing problems with the software, and the developer is planning to release a fix soon. My experience has been smooth so far.
