I checked the Steam MMOs and found Archage to be quite engaging, though you should weigh if it matches your interests before diving in.
I haven't tried it yet, but I'm considering getting it if you don't have to pay monthly. Personally, I think it looks good.
In early access it's unlikely you'd see it clearly—I'd watch how it develops before deciding. Check out some Twitch streams of the game to understand it better and hear what streamers discuss while playing. They usually have experience with other MMOs and will compare it accordingly.
Featured in the Cloded Beta. For those who enjoy PvP, open world exploration, social gatherings, friendships, land ownership, farming, agriculture, and roleplaying—especially as a bandit or not—this game has something for you. It's an excellent MMORPG so far.
Free access means you can't develop farms or houses, you receive half the labor points and fewer than a subscriber's points. It's unclear if boats are allowed for free, but you'll get a basic rowboat. The open beta is still available—feel free to give it a try!
I don't care about that nonsense anytime soon until I level up my character. I might contribute some cash to these folks, maybe the $99 tier. It's not a terrible game at all. One of the most visually appealing free MMOs around. It feels like Final Fantasy but without the confusing storyline.
well let me add some other stuff i forgot regarding LP If you dont have any LP You cant craft you cant Harvest materials (Ore, herbs, wood) You cant "identifiy" Gear enemies drop You cant open "purses" enemies drop at lest you can use mount, Boat and the Flyer without LP. Also its open beta..I highly suggest you test it before you throw money at it. also there is a 3 class system. you start with 1 when you make a character then unlock two more as you Level up. this makes it possible to make Hybrid characters. however there is alot of bitching going on regarding some "hybrid classes" like mixing melee with magic and so on...honestly i dont give two fucks and i just made what i felt like doing so i suggest you do the same, if someone start bitching, ignor them. its possible to "re roll" class choice from an NPC, cost gold but its not alot so DW.
