A Windows 10 snapshot created after using Citrix optimizer or decrapifier works well for virtual machines or everyday use. But the built-in version comes with excessive bloat, which doesn’t suit my preferences—especially since I’ve already paid for the operating system.

I see bugs coming your way. As part of the insider group, I share that view too. However, I enjoy darker tones.

You're thinking about getting Windows 10 for just $30—it's worked well for you so far. But there might be other options too.

Upgrading from Vista to 10 isn't really possible. In comparison, Vista had fewer issues than 10. I haven't heard anyone complain about updates breaking shortcuts, thumbnails, file associations, deleting files, or causing the OS to become unstable during Vista. Just that it could have been quite demanding on dual-core processors and systems with under 4 gigabytes of RAM.

Status updated. Current situation is quite tense... better to keep it that way.
