After spending the night fine-tuning and adjusting, I discovered EnBoost today. It’s meant to resolve the memory problem that causes crashes on my desktop. I downloaded it from the Enbdev site, added it to my Skyrim file following the tutorial video, and included the enblocal file from Nexus Mods which restricts RAM usage only. Despite these changes, the Performance monitor still shows high RAM consumption up to 2.6 GB. In the video, the usage was significantly lower after installation. What might have gone wrong?
I focus on RAM instead of ENBoost. My system exceeds 6GB, do you mean GPU memory?
In the Gophers video he mentions not using many mods and notes your results might differ. Please verify you have the right file (64bit vs 32bit). I believe 64-bit systems usually gain more from this than 32-bit ones—guesswork, of course.
