Crysis 3 and Spec ops were both a bit tricky to tackle, but it was a nice shift in approach.

Crisp 3 features an engaging narrative that draws players in. If you're considering purchasing it, the compelling story could be a key factor for you.

Likely it's an insurgency or DayZ game. I also really liked BF4.

Dark Souls 2 stands out as a bold take on the classic series, alongside its predecessors. This has been the core of my gaming this year.

The narrative flows a bit more smoothly this time compared to Crysis 2. It continues logically from the previous entry, and some elements from earlier titles felt clearer afterward. I’m used to tolerating lower frame rates, so running it at full speed on a GTX750Ti with AA off gave a great experience—spending a lot of time exploring interesting visuals before actually playing. I believe it will look even better on your GPU. Bow and Arrow really enhanced the experience, fitting the game perfectly.

The only new game I tried this year was Planet Explorers (early access)—that’s it. It’s really fun. I follow a 1-2 year buying cycle, mainly purchasing sales, except for MMOs or big multiplayer titles I’m really invested in. Right now I’m playing Star Citizen, which I’ve spent around $1300 on.
