Hello, I’m excited about the updates regarding my internet connection. I’ve been with CenturyLink for around a decade, paying about $160 each month for 6 Mbps speeds. I’ve been looking for alternatives and have recently visited your site for suggestions. Just yesterday, Suddenlink installed a new fiber optic line right outside my house. While the service will be faster and more affordable than what I’m currently getting, I’d like to understand the type of connection this represents. I apologize if the details about the cable weren’t clear, but knowing more could help clarify things. Previously, I had a standard cable internet line at my address, which was out of reach until now. With this new setup, can I be certain it’s also cable rather than the ADSL service from CenturyLink? Thank you for your time.

It looks like you're referring to a specific type of audio cable, possibly RG-11 or RG-12 coaxial. You mentioned it should be noted somewhere on the jacket.
