I faced a choice between Alien: Isolation and Total War Shogun 2 Complete edition. Both intrigued me, so I wanted to know which one is better.

Both options work well; I haven't played Alien yet, but I'll try soon. Shogun, you can aim for 100 hours on the easier level.

This total war game often comes with discounts. I’d prefer the one that’s cheaper, though it feels a bit low-quality. Personally, I found it enjoyable with a modest learning curve. Alien Isolation stood out as a game that felt immersive once you were in, and its sound quality was solid. If you must choose just one, Total War seems like the better option.

Your PC setup isn't ideal for heavy tasks. The specs suggest it struggles with demanding applications.

You might want to verify that information. I enjoyed playing Shogun even at the lowest settings.

I can only purchase through Steam. I don’t use a credit card. On SteamDB, it shows the cheapest price available right now.

I haven't played any Total War games yet. Is the difficulty curve suitable for me?

Sure, just keep it moderate. The AI improves with different settings. Check out some guides or tutorials. I’ve spent over 500 hours on a few total war titles, so I’m pretty set on them. I enjoyed Empire, but Shogun 2 is solid too—don’t miss the DLC. Good luck conquering the world or Japan!
