I'm eager to share this experience with others. It feels unbelievable. Everything unfolds within the game Onward, a virtual reality simulation. I found myself last standing on my team, trapped in a second floor of a building. My supplies were gone. I threw a grenade, but it didn’t matter. A voice shouted from below, "Come out with your hands up!" I replied, "Alright, hands are up—watch your fire." I lowered them and stepped outside. A gun greeted me cautiously. It demanded I kneel and place my hands behind my head. I complied, feeling a wave of embarrassment. "Where are they? Where are my teammates?" I asked. He replied, "They're all dead..." He pulled out his pistol again. Looking up, I saw the barrel in my eyes. Slowly, I said goodbye. *BANG*—the screen went dark. For a moment, everyone remained silent, watching this unfold on the live feed. In disbelief, we laughed, calling it the most incredible moment we'd ever witnessed. Even though I knew it was all staged, that instant before the end felt incredibly real... My heart is still racing. I won’t sleep tonight.

Have you noticed just how vast the game's universe is? Does your space feel as expansive as it appears?

It combines roomscale with touchpad gestures. Hand directions are blended with classic forward, left, right, back motions to reduce motion sickness. The experience is very smooth. You can even lie down. In my mind I thought "this is DayZ but I really feel present." It offers a unique feel—like being on your knees while still moving naturally.

Sure! Let's keep things clear and concise.
The visuals seem a bit unconventional.

It's easy to overlook in VR—it feels and looks real, except when viewing far away. At 200 meters, details become blurry without a good scope, but the developers are working on binoculars to help. The videos are also a bit dated.
