I've probably done a few basic fixes too. I rearranged the cables, restarted my computer many times, adjusted settings in the control panel and checked the incident manager. It helped once last night when I pressed F8 to enter boot mode, didn't choose anything and then turned it off and back on. I repeated that twice this morning but got nothing. I assumed it would work after a fix, but it didn’t. My monitor is recognized by Windows and appears in the display settings, yet I see only a black screen with no visible tabs. I can still open tabs in Windows, but they don’t show up on the other monitor. I have another monitor that functions properly, which confirms I can view tabs there.
Have you experimented with changing the input sources between HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2? Additionally, you might want to disconnect the power cable, press the power button for a minute, and then reconnect it.
I've tested both options. No success. However, when it worked at random, it was linked to the second HDMI port, which is now connected.

Do you notice the BIOS splash screen during startup with only the new monitor connected? Providing more information about your hardware—such as the video card, motherboard, and BIOS version—would be useful. Are you using an HDMI cable that supports HDMI 2.0?
Using a reliable result, proper connection, and still receiving nothing suggests a faulty device. I’d replace it, particularly because it’s brand new.
