The most noticeable variations will come from additional components such as a GPU, water pump, several powerful fans, and rotating drives. The actual power consumption of the CPU during idle time won’t be very high.

I just reinstalled everything onto the 990 Pro. It really performs well—its single CPU matches the 7950x3D in speed, though it’s only slightly faster. It handles most tasks smoothly, except for gaming. In fact, I found Will of the Wisps runs at 4K HDR around 50fps, which is acceptable for that game.

Still no gains in Geekbench, though I’ve installed a fan shroud. Airflow comes in from the outside of my A09 case. The Seasonic SSP-300SUB power supply handles the front intake at 60mm, and the exhaust fan spins at 80mm.

Continue testing Arctic p12 max settings. Try increasing RPM to around 3300. Observe any changes in performance.

Revert the low voltage settings and confirm the CPU remains adequately cooled.
