I'm hesitant about using liquid metal because of my concerns. I was considering switching from stock tim to a better option like Coolermaster Mastergel Maker, and I don't plan to regl it. Keeping the distance between the IHS and die will be shorter, which might affect temperature performance.
65 to 67 while gaming is fine. 75 in prime 95 should you be concerned?
Actually in bios theres an advanced mode.. which ups it to 4.4ghz.. running in that mode the gaming temps go to 77 and prime 95 temps go to 82.. that's why i wanna delid.. i guess changing tim to thermal paste won't give a big deop in temps but a small drop.. also i dont plan to reglue so the distance from die to ihs will be less giving some more drop.. so in this case now do u think delidding is worth?
I'm experiencing some concerns about my OCD. I recently installed a new motherboard, the Gigabyte Aorus Pro, and while setting up the GPU, I didn't hear the click of the PCIe slot properly. This made me worry about potential damage. I pressed the GPU firmly against the motherboard several times, thinking it might have caused harm. The motherboard seems to be functioning well now. Should I be worried? Did the pressure do anything to the motherboard?
The temperatures remain ideal. The display shows an image and functions correctly. No concerns needed.
Noctua nhu12s is my favorite cooler. I lowered the clock speed to 4.07ghz out of concern it might wear out faster at higher temps. Should I try 4.4 instead? Could it last another two years? I’m a bit worried about damaging it.
