I’m offering a PC pre-configured with Windows 10. Using the settings to reset it won’t remove the product key. Keeping the key allows the buyer to log in via their Microsoft account easily. That way, the process stays straightforward and simple.

Visit the official Microsoft download page for Windows 10 ISO. Purchase the required Windows 10 key from Microsoft before proceeding.

The PC would remain powered on using the original key since the hardware hasn’t altered. Even after a full clean install of Windows, you might attempt this: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/3597...-10-a.html. If your key is tied to your Microsoft account, you can transfer it to another PC and then detach it from the previous one.

If it's an OEM key, you can simply remove all personal details from the PC and move them using that key. You must let the buyer know it's an OEM key and that activation might affect eligibility for MSFT support if issues arise. For a standard license key, follow the same steps to keep your ownership intact since you've already paid.
