This term refers to a stuttering issue in Warzone.
I'm experiencing frequent FPS drops leading to stuttering in the game. My system specs include an i7-6700k processor, Asus Maximus VIII Hero graphics card with 16GB RAM, Corsair Vengeance SSD, and a 2080 Super SSD. Currently, I'm running Windows 10 with all graphics settings at the lowest level and a resolution of 1080p. Despite lowering everything, I still see frame drops. Setting the resolution to 1440p didn't help much. I've tried updating drivers, reinstalling Windows, and following YouTube tutorials to resolve stuttering. It seems my GPU usage fluctuates between 80% and 98%, possibly due to the GPU bottleneck. The SSD might also be contributing to the issue. I'm unsure if upgrading the GPU or hardware would solve this problem.
Started with 60c both, just played a solo and ran a log on Afterburner.
Have you experimented with a frame limit? Which adjustments are you using?
I'm adjusting the frame rate limit to 144 to align with the refresh settings. Recent changes in my in-game settings have been quite extensive, making it hard to resolve the issue. Full Screen Render Resolution is set at 100 with texture detail disabled. I've tried everything from low to high settings, but still experience stuttering.
I'm planning to try some combat scenarios soon. Witcher 3 worked well for me. My friend is playing Warzone without any issues. He's got a 3600k monitor paired with an 2080 graphics card running at 1080p.
Your system might be struggling due to hardware limitations, as the game is quite old. Check if your CPU can handle the demands.
