I verified this by attempting to log into Steam on two different machines before installing Steam Guard. Both login attempts succeeded initially. After installing the protection software, I encountered the message: "Steam is having trouble connecting to the Steam servers." Please be cautious.

I explained that I tested it across various platforms, but perhaps you overlooked that detail.

Two systems in play, but they don't seem to fit. It might not be your own setup—possibly the network settings or security features are the real cause. I've seen many users go through this without running into problems.

I've relied on Steam Guard for years and haven't faced any problems up to now, not even on Windows 10.

Everyone has heard about Steam Guard not functioning properly, causing users to lose their accounts. GG Valve.

Steam guard functions well for me... likely because they understand my preference for dank memes.
