After no one responded to my previous post, I switched to a different approach using UTvideo codec with DXtory. How would your hard drive performance fare with 1080p at 60 frames per second?

Too much is unnecessary.

Well, it seems the issue might be linked to your codec configuration and CPU performance.

I believe your CPU could be limiting your performance; consider testing it first to see if it functions properly before thinking about an upgrade.

Thanks! I'll follow up later to check how it performs in CSGO. It's a solid test since it's mainly CPU-intensive.

I record using fraps at 1080p with 60fps, and the bitrate usually comes out about 186MB/s. Sometimes it drops to near 175MB/s during games. It’s a bit high, but around 50MB/s might be better. I don’t have a way to adjust it in fraps to test different settings.

The excessive use of space is really annoying.

Discussing the topic at hand involves examining potential visual effects such as shadow play or GVR for NVIDIA Fermi processors.

Don't take it personally, just a quick Diablo 3 clip I made—about 20GB or more. Rip!
