After no one responded to my previous post, I switched to a different approach using UTvideo codec with DXtory. How would your hard drive performance fare with 1080p at 60 frames per second?

I record using fraps at 1080p with 60fps, and the bitrate usually comes out about 186MB/s. Sometimes it drops to near 175MB/s during games. It’s a bit high, but around 50MB/s might be better. I don’t have a way to adjust it in fraps to test different settings.
