The system runs smoothly at 3.6GHz, yet HWInfo shows it’s ramping up to 4042MHz across all cores. It seems the boost is working but not sustaining for extended periods. Restarts don’t fully reset the Ryzen Master settings. I turned off OC in Ryzen Master and adjusted overclocking on the B350 motherboard BIOS—now it hits 4GHz at 1.35V. I’m curious if 4GHz is normal or unusually high. After downgrading from 8C/16T to 6C/12T, it still feels stable enough. Lower voltages might actually improve stability. Your goal of a strong overclock and enjoying the new hardware is clear.
Adjust the speed to 1.2x and observe the results. It seems lower voltages might improve idle performance.
