I'm assembling a budget gaming PC using refurbished components from eBay. Currently I have an Intel i5-2400 processor, an MSI H61M-P21 motherboard, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and a MSI GeForce GT710 graphics card. The CPU is already bought, but the rest are still pending. Previously, I managed to run most games on my HP ProBook 6360b using an external GPU via ExpressCard with the NVIDIA GeForce GTS450. Far Cry 5 has been the only title that hasn't run well, often at around 1 FPS. I'm moving to a mini-tower for this build.

I’d suggest a 1050ti instead of the 750ti.

It could work when you play in potato mode, using minimal graphics and a 720p setting (possibly even less).
