Running the Motorola MBP8600 for some time, I reflected on the admin connection on the modem. Overall, it seems acceptable. The downstream Bonded Channels, Channel Lock Status, Modulation Channel ID, Frequency (MHz), Power (dBmV), SNR (dB) readings look consistent. The logged data includes Locked QAM256 sequences with various parameters, and the overall signal quality appears stable.

I consistently reach a maximum of 550mbps under ideal conditions. Just checking if the signals were performing well. I did everything to troubleshoot.

Which router are you using? Many consumer models struggle to extend beyond gigabit LAN to WAN.

Have you reached out to support? Usually your ISP won’t notice speed problems as long as the connection is stable, so you’ll need to get in touch to identify the problem and resolve it.

Yup reached out for help. Five field engineers attended, including two senior staff. They struggled to resolve the issue; one mentioned the infrastructure can't handle even 900Mbps. Another suggested switching to CenturyLink. My network setup and router are straightforward—using a Netgear R9000 and a Synology RT2600AC router both faced the same problem. The latter provides a bit more speed than the former, but only slightly. I tested it with a laptop and desktop directly connected to the internet modem; it offers a marginal improvement, though not a significant one.
