Hello! I'm assembling a PC for home use—rendering, gaming, and streaming. I got an old R7 1700 but it got lost in transit. Now I see a similar R7 3700X available at a comparable price. Will my current build work smoothly with this new CPU? I’m aware a BIOS update might be needed, but can the BIOS flashback handle that upgrade? Also, here’s a photo of the CPU and some notes about the brown residue—any sign it’s damaged?
