Hello,
I own an Intel G41 chipset with an i5 650 and 6GB (3x2) of RAM. I'm unsure if purchasing an aftermarket cooler for overclocking is worthwhile. Should I get an RX 480 or stick with the stock cooler and opt for an RX 470? Also, I'm considering adding a 2GB RAM stick. My thermal paste suggestion is Arctic Silver 5.
My options are:
1. RX 470 4GB – 210€
2. RX 480 4GB – 250€ (H12 vevo 30€)
3. Other suggestions welcome
My budget is 350€, and I haven't planned a CPU upgrade yet. My goal is to play BF1 1080p/60fps smoothly; do I need a more powerful CPU for 64 players? What would be a smart investment?
I would maintain the existing CPU and cooler, avoid overclocking the CPU, opt for an RX 470. I plan to purchase an 8GB RAM kit rather than adding more RAM and mixing specifications, as this could lead to instability. Before suggesting a new graphics card, I need to understand the power supply model currently in use.
You currently use a 300w power supply without a 6-pin connector, so you might want to consider purchasing a new one with the appropriate connector type.
I'm looking for a replacement power supply with a 300w rating and a 6-pin connector. Any recommendations?
