Sure, the Titan X feels a bit overkill for my needs. With 1440p setups already planned, I’m already budgeting for two monitors, so spending on it would be unnecessary. Plus, its features don’t justify the cost compared to what I’m seeking.

I understand your perspective. I've been considering the 290x and realized that if I'm heading toward AMD's path, it might make more sense to hold off on the 300 series until then.
