Check the compatibility guide for your processor to see if it supports running a GPU on the top PCIe slot at x8 or x16 speeds. Your current model only handled x4, and even with the RTX 3060 you needed at least x8, which limited performance. In Brazil, CPU availability is limited, so you’re likely stuck with older chips like the 3200GE or 2200G. Consider upgrading to a newer CPU if possible, or look into alternatives that better match your budget and needs.

The 3000g and similar APUs perform best at X8 for the top CPU. Mining usually functions okay on PCIe X1, which suggests this might not be the main problem.

The RX 3060’s mining limit is disabled when using x8 or x16 with one monitor connected (or a fake plug). To run it normally on an XT or X16 card, you’ll need to adjust the BIOS before removing the older GPU. This ensures the display output isn’t lost.
