Is there anyone aware of whether the X570 fails to show a signal with BIOS PCIe version 4 enabled, while it works with version 3?

In 2020/2021 there were some problems with PCI-E Gen4 and USB connectivity, similar to what you're experiencing again. These issues were fixed in the AGESA updates. Could you tell me which motherboard BIOS version you have installed? If it's quite old, updating the BIOS might be the best next step.
