It experiences stuttering in CPU-intensive games such as For Honor. My brother's system runs a 970 and 7400, which gives me useful insights—just be mindful of that issue but otherwise it works fine.

May lead to stuttering in certain titles. The upgrade from an i5 6600 to an i7 6700 happened due to fluctuating frame rates in Overwatch. If you haven’t assembled this system yet, consider opting for a Ryzen 2600 instead.

You're not sure about this. Your 8400 has a 970 rating, and your 970 is fully used up in most games, except for those that are really demanding on the CPU.
