If I installed the CPU, the power button would activate, causing the fan to spin, RGB lights to illuminate, and HDD to rotate. Removing the CPU stopped everything, indicating some interaction between the motherboard and CPU. I cleared the CMOS and tried a BIOS flash, renaming the firmware to SX570FG.CAP. It completed its procedure and flashed green for a few minutes before stopping. The latest firmware didn’t work, so I’m unsure what else to try.
depends on its age. I recall my Z390 needed a conversion to new BIOS at some point. But without the CPU, and then attempting a flash, it can take forever. Try older versions too. Use the BIOS renamer tool. I was thinking about upgrading my PC for a while. I received a Mobo and bought a Ryzen 7. None of my friends have an AM4 CPU, only Intel. I’m aware my GPU and power supply are okay. I tried using one stick with two RAM sticks, but nothing changed at all. If I understand correctly, the Mobo has four LEDs showing status—boot, VGA, CPU, DRAM—but they stay black all the time.

I’ll consider a shorter name for it. Right now I’m not optimistic, but I tried renaming the cap file and bios flash back. It blinked green three times before staying on. In manual mode it said the bios flash back didn’t start, so I switched to SX570FG.CAP. It seems to write correctly as expected.
