I'm planning to buy the Gigabyte Gaming Plus WiFi along with a 7600 and 2x16GB 6000/CL30 RAM since that seems to be a sweet spot. i want to just use XMP and expect the RAM to run at that speed and not to have to set timings manually. On pcpartspicker (sort by 2x16, 6000, and CL30) i find several RAM options but not really any listed by Gigabyte. I realize they can't test every possible combo. Gigabyte lists some kits with higher speeds. a Is there a way to predict which RAM works with XMP and the listed speed without manual setting of timings? DDR5 has been on the market for a while, so i hope QC got much better. Last time i bought an AM5 system I was lucky that the RAM I bought was listed by Gigabyte and all was flawless. Here the partslist. I just picked the cheapest and Silicon Power isn't even listed at all by Gigabyte. I see no reason why it shouldn't work. updating the BIOS can improve RAM compatability and stability. I have used plenty of DDR5 RAM that is not listed on AM5 Motherboards QVL without any issues. Even with XMP RAM on AM5, no problem Obviously, you can be unlucky so I cant give you a 100% guarantee.
