Hello, I purchased two new PC components from Newegg and found a motherboard that came with a free Corsair RAM kit. Impressed. I bought them together without checking compatibility, assuming the AM5 board would work with it. Some people claim it does support it, while others say not. The manufacturer’s specifications mention support, but I wanted to confirm for myself. Thanks. Check the supported memory list in the support section of the motherboard site. If present, performance should match claims. Otherwise, it might function but could require adjustments.

Refers to the fact that only a couple of Corsair kits are available for this board. The phrase suggests adjustments might be necessary.

You might need to lower the speed or tweak the settings manually so they reach their maximum performance. Sometimes it functions fine even if it isn't on the manufacturer's list—it just means it wasn't verified. Personally, with Ryzen, Corsair memory tends to be less reliable compared to other brands, especially for AM4 boards, though this was true only for a single AM5 build I assembled shortly after its release.

Drop to 6000 works without any problems, though C36 might be outdated Samsung tech. Once CPUs push for 7000+, you’ll need to switch, but for now and possibly a few more generations you should be okay.
