I adjusted my selection of motherboard for a fresh setup since my first pick was an ASRock board. It needed to be compatible with
G.Skill F5-6000J3636F16Gx2-RM5NRW RAM. This model meets EXPO standards, fits within my budget, and is listed in the QVL for the ASRock board. The other RAMs I discovered are either XMP-only, have higher latency, cost more, or aren’t RGB.
My updated motherboard option
MSI Pro B650-VC WiFi II
has the 32Gx2 version of this RAM series available in its QVL, though it lacks the 16Gx2 support. I think the 16Gx2 might also function, possibly because the manufacturer overlooked testing that capacity.
What do you think experts recommend?

Yes, agree with

The QVL is limited in scope. It starts as DIMMS, mainly based on devices that have been tried before the release. Once released, updates are uncommon unless newer DIMMs are tested. I assume they should function properly whether they're in the QVL or not. If they fail, discard them and opt for the 64gb kit if possible.

Open the G.Skill ram selection application.
Check whether your chosen RAM package appears in the support list for your CPU/mobo combination.
