This question Control Center 3.0 is an LED keyboard.
So I recently bought a Gigabyte G5 KC and it came with control center built-in. It was cool at first but then I found out there were no special effects. Even I couldn't get a white backlit keyboard to turn on. Then I dug around even more and installed the Obsidian PC LED keyboard, but still nothing. No cycle or breath or wave. I am kind of disappointed yet I feel like it is possible to have those effects, just the manufacturer kept them limited.
You might have overlooked this option on our list: a keyboard that lights up all zones with just one color. Check out this link for more details: All-zone of Single Colored Backlit Keyboard https://www.gigabyte.com/Laptop/G5--RTX-30-Series
I managed to find a program that lets me change my keyboard's color to any color I want, not just those few colors on the control center 3.0. My only question is: why can't these effects work when there isn't even a button involved? It feels like the factory stopped them from making it that way even if the laptop itself supports it. The "Startup Override Boot Effect" already shows that this cycle works, so why wouldn't they just let me do it whenever I use the computer instead of only at startup? Basically, when you open the laptop, the keyboard colors change through all of them while the computer boots up, but after it finishes starting up, it goes back to being static.
I know it's been some time since you posted about this, but I just bought this laptop from someone else for a really good deal. What software did you use that lets it show more colors than the normal control panel? I've searched everywhere and still can't find anything like that. Thanks!
