I’m working on assembling a PC with these specifications: Case – Lian Li Mesh II Performance; Motherboard – Asus tuf gaming b660+; AIO – Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240. To fit the AIO I had to install an LGA1700 adapter onto the motherboard. After mounting it in the case, I noticed the bracket on the back of the board is making contact with the case plate where a fan hub is already installed. My concern is whether this could cause a short circuit or any other issue. Please let me know if this is something to worry about. Thank you for your understanding—I’m trying to stay calm and see the photos for clarity.

Ensure no power reaches those sections. They must function as ground connections. If concerns arise, adjust the edges slightly where they contact.

Sure, I can take off the fanhub cover plate and move the controller elsewhere if it’s safe. No issues with metal contact, thanks!

You're welcome too. Essentially, the only things likely to occur are paint chipping when you move or adjust components. Great job getting the new computer!
