Absolutely, I've faced similar situations before. I usually test things out because I've encountered this many times. Perhaps gently handling the interior of the case could affect a very slight connection. Uncertain, though!

No idea, handled the case with care. Unless the motherboard was a bit puzzled by those odd sticks of RAM—like 2x8 and 2x16? same brand, though. Usually they don’t have matching chipsets, but it’s still working since I’ve installed them.
