Hey everyone! I'm trying to push my 3100 for some overclocking, but it seems like it's stuck at around 4.2GHz max. It works fine at 4.1GHz, but when I run Cinebench it crashes. I've changed settings like loadlines, voltages, and even updated the BIOS, but nothing seems to help. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if this is just a bad build. Here are my specs: CPU – Ryzen 3 3100, cooler – beQuiet Pure Rock 2 Mobo, motherboard – Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro, PS – beQuiet Pure Power 11, RAM – 16GB, GPU – Patriot Viper 3600 CL17. Thanks! Edit: After a few minutes in P95 it becomes unstable, and eventually just one thread stops working.
Silicon lottery seems to cause discomfort. My CPU stays below 4.3 or 4.4.
Sure, I understand. It's okay if it's not perfect. I'll stick to using it until the fourth generation updates. Appreciate the help! Have a great time.
