The system features a Ryzen 5 2600 Amd paired with an AMD Wraith Max cooler. It runs Gigabyte B450M DS3H with dual-channel support, 2x8 DDR4 RAM in TeamGroup Delta configuration, and Kingston A2000 1TB M.2 SSD. The RX 480 Gaming X Seasonic Focus Plus 550W is also installed, operating at 80+Gold. Latest BIOS updates are applied for the motherboard. Temperatures stay under 57°C even during heavy loads. The chipset drivers were freshly updated directly from AMD’s site. Power plan choice doesn’t affect performance significantly. Scores are lower than some other Ryzen 5 2600 models I’ve seen online.

Are you certain no modifications were made to the BIOS? Inserted RAM in slots 2 and 4, XMP activated?

Slots 2 and 4 are set with XMP active. That’s all the modifications I made in the BIOS.

I use hwinfo64 for monitoring. For a single core CB run, the boost typically comes from improved efficiency or reduced overhead during that specific execution.

It's quite low too. Aim for about 3.8 across all cores and around 4.2 on single core. Actually, I was considering the 2600x setting, turning on PBO to check if it can push performance further, as it looks like you have enough thermal capacity.

I assumed those CPUs lack PBO, but you should try enabling it.

They locate it in the BIOS settings, specifically within a section labeled AMD CBS.

I noticed it should be labeled as XFR enhancement. Let me check the other menus for consistency.
