Hi there, I recently switched from an i5-2320 to an i7-4770k and am really pleased with the results. However, playing ArmA 3 multiplayer often drops to around 6fps or less until it crashes. On my older system I was seeing 9-20 FPS, which is why I upgraded initially. Others using the same chip model report 40+ FPS on similar servers. I also swapped to an SSD and set it as my boot drive, but I might have missed installing a driver, which could be causing these problems. All other games run smoothly with much better performance. I’m still a bit puzzled and hope someone can help clarify this for me.

System: i7-4770k CPU MSI Z87-G45 MOBO GTX 680 GPU CX750 PSU
Thanks, Builder.

This could influence more aspects beyond just drivers.

If your bios includes settings for another CPU, it may not function optimally, so it's best to simply "reset" the bios.

Yes, besides video drivers, you might need additional system or utility drivers depending on your hardware and software setup.

Ensure the chipset is current. Also, monitor CPU activity while playing.
