ETA: Found issue with eBay server ECC memory. Previous use was good, but this one is causing problems. It's a new 2U home server built for TrueNAS. Used Ryzen 5 4600G with Gigabyte B550MK AM4 SK Hynix DDR4 3200 ECC, 64GB. Experiments included rotating RAM sticks, moving connectors, removing network adapter and drives, clearing CMOS by disconnecting power. Tried HMDI and DisplayPort on working monitors, changed PSU wire gauge, adjusted fan speeds. Status LEDs function but the system won't boot. Possibly needs BIOS upgrade—no idea what version it's running.
From the support list, it appears all AM4 CPUs work with the standard BIOS version available at the provided link.
The F3 BIOS isn't loading on your system, and both Q-Flash and Ubuntu aren't supporting it. Try using a different BIOS or check your hardware connections.
I believe the monitor is connected via HDMI on the motherboard. The PC starts up with fans running and lights on, but the screen remains blank.
Ensure the correct BIOS matches the specific revision; F3 works with revision 1.0 (FB), while revision 1.1 uses a different FB. The APU operates using the original launch BIOS, so check for board or APU issues. If your board has a motherboard speaker connection, connect it to the designated pins and power it up to detect any POST error codes.
It functions properly. I discovered some outdated DDR4 RAM. I won’t be utilizing it and have stopped using ECC memory.
