This processor is suitable for playing The Division 2.
My son was looking at the requirements for *Division 2*, but he mistakenly chose the older version’s specifications. He purchased *Division 2* and it won't operate correctly. His computer has an Intel Pentium G4400 processor paired with a Radeon RX 460 graphics card.
The game begins to load, but it immediately freezes or displays a blank screen during the initial loading screens, preventing him from accessing the game’s menu. While his processor is below the recommended specifications, I expected it to at least initiate loading to the main menu. My older FX6300 processor runs the game without problems, even though it falls short of minimum requirements. I’m aware of numerous reports regarding game crashes and black screens related to this issue, so I was unsure whether his problem stemmed from a weak CPU or some other technical malfunction – though I suspect most of these issues originated during the game’s beta phase.
He has attempted several troubleshooting steps, but they have been unsuccessful. It appears a CPU upgrade is now necessary, unless anyone can offer additional advice or solutions?
Thank you.
If you recently purchased Division 2 digitally, you may be able to return it within the warranty period. It appears they offer a one-week return window, provided you haven't played it yet.
Regrettably, if you obtained it via CDkeys, a refund may not be possible. You should inquire with them directly.
I believed the G4400 met the minimum requirements for DIV1, but after discussing it with someone else, he researched on YouTube to see if a G4400 was running the game. He discovered that what he perceived as DIV2 was actually DIV1 with that processor. Therefore, he didn't verify the specifications and mistakenly thought it was running at DIV2 based on what he observed online. I’ll try MSI, thank you.
TerryLaze installed MSI and RivaTuner, but he’s struggling to find the option for limiting frames per second within MSI. YouTube videos featuring older versions demonstrate a framerate limiter, which he can’t locate in his version. Could someone assist him with this? Thank you.
The software includes an additional program, RivaTuner Statistics Server, which appears as a small blue icon in the system tray. This allows you to create custom settings for specific games or establish global limits applicable to all applications.
