The 5600X, 5800X, 5900X, and 5950X all deliver similar performance in games since they can run smoothly on a system with 6 cores and 12 threads.
The 5600X remains suitable for the present and the near future.
The 5800X offers good performance now, for at least the next five years, and is still relevant.
The 5900X works well currently, for the foreseeable future, and for another five years or more.
The 5950X is an extremely powerful CPU but unnecessary for a gaming PC.

Are the 5900X and 5950X designed with 12 and 16 cores in mind for gaming purposes?
