Recently installed a fresh setup and noticed my CPU usage spikes to 60-80% during intense gaming sessions like Dota2 or League of Legends. The old system handled it better. I’m unsure what’s causing this increase. Check specs: 165Hz display, 1920x1080 resolution, G-sync GPU, i7-9700k CPU, 16GB RAM, 600W PSU. If this isn’t typical, look into potential bottlenecks or driver issues.

2400mhz ram is great, but Dota 2 and gaming are both CPU-intensive, which is why

The typical games don’t usually need that much power. I’ve got to boost that one, sure, but still no way to use 60–70% of my i7 CPU, right? That’s pretty intense for a game like League.

It's typical behavior. Since the i7 9700K lacks hyperthreading, you'll experience increased CPU utilization.
