Even with the stock cooler, the temperature shouldn't be excessively high. It might be overclocked or running at its default speed. Upgrading to the CM Hyper 212 would be beneficial, but you should first reinstall and reapply thermal paste to the original cooler.
Which scenario are you working with? Fan setup? Ambient air temperature? Overclocking?
