I initially tested my 3700x with Prime95 but it struggled to reach 95°C during stress tests. After switching to a dark rock pro 4, temperatures stayed around 90°C. During gaming or light video editing, I rarely exceeded 63°C. It seems Prime95’s demands are extreme and unlikely for most users. Since your temps remain stable in editing and gaming, there’s probably no need to worry about the benchmark results. Before anyone comments, this could also relate to airflow issues—my Corsair 275r has 6 ML120 fans, which matches your setup. Don’t stress over these numbers.

I just completed a prime95 test on my 3700x and it’s still reaching the same maximum temperature. I plan to skip the temperatures from that program. The machine has been running for more than six months, and under regular use it stays near 60°C.
