I have a Ryzen 7 3700X with a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo fan and a case equipped with three Noctua fans for better airflow. The problem I’m facing is that when I begin a Prime95 test using small FFTs, the CPU temperatures jump to 95/100°C. It seems there’s a risk of overheating, but I don’t want any damage. My idle temps stay between 40°C and 50°C, while Cinebench spikes to 72–80°C during testing. This isn’t related to case airflow since the tests start when the case is still cool. I’m not sure if the CPU is overclocked because its max clock is 4020MHz. (Screenshot attached)
I reinstalled the cooler using fresh thermal paste, then disabled PBO and AutoOC, but it still reaches those high temperatures.
Are you looking for updated profiles? Consider checking Ryzen Master instead of hwinfo64.
Current BIOS and chipset updates available. The cooler issue appears unresolved, as the standard Prism model still struggles to reach 80°C.

Checked the discussion on the Noctua forum. It seems some users are experiencing overheating with their Ryzen 3000 processors. Running Prime95 for a short period might help you gauge temperatures, but ensure your cooling system is functioning properly.
