Hey! I just upgraded to a Ryzen 5 3600 and had some trouble getting good performance. I've looked into Ryzen 3rd gen OC with PBO and AutoOC, but they didn't help much. I experimented with different voltage settings and boost frequencies, but I couldn't reach 4.025GHz even with high voltage on the low end. Eventually, I switched to manual OC using Ryzen Master. This time I used CPU-Z and HWinfo, but they gave inaccurate readings. Here are my specs: - Motherboard: MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC (last BIOS update) - RAM: GSKILL TRIDENT Z CL14 3200MHZ - CPU: CRYORIG A40 ULTIMATE You can check my results here: https://imgur.com/5l137ZZ and https://imgur.com/vyaQKIH. Reaching the destination is manageable, but what about its reliability? Prime 95 offers coverage for one hour, twelve hours, twenty-four hours or more.

I understand, I just cleared the Ryzen Master and a quick OCCT test. Still, it shouldn't run smoothly on Cinebench or in games—I even played Apex for an hour.

They can be risky phrases. If it works well, it stays reliable, no matter the reason. If Prime95 holds up for 1 to 4 hours, it meets its requirements and that's great!

That's true, my point is if there's any config I'm missing or doing wrong... I'm planning on doing the stress test tomorrow and I'll post the results.

The only thing noticeable is that I’d likely exchange some of the core speed for memory speed and input speed if you’re just running at 3200/1800. It’s Cas 14 memory, which means it should offer some flexibility to align the memory with the input speed, so maybe 3600/1800 or higher.

Recent changes indicate Prime 95 stable at 3600MHz CL15 memory with 1.40V. Performance remains consistent across real games, though cores don't show improvement in benchmarks.
