I'm swapping my old GTX1070 for a Zotac Rtx 3060ti. The power cable I had for the 1070 had two 6+2 pins, but the new card only needs one. Should I use just the single 6+2 pin and skip the extra one, or do I need a different cable?

This cable should function properly. Simply keep the other connector exposed inside the case.
