Here are my computer specs: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 7800 Ti with a 5th Gen Intel Core i3-5700X3D processor and an AMD Radeon RX 7500 XT graphics card paired with a high-wattage power supply (PSU). For the last week, my PC has been crashing all over the place. I need help right now to fix this because it is driving me crazy. When I am gaming or looking at websites, my computer randomly turns itself off. Then, when I press a button to turn it back on, it comes up very fast and acts like nothing happened. That whole process takes less than half a second. I have no idea why this is happening. The shut downs don't seem totally random; sometimes when I play certain games or do specific things in them, the computer shuts down completely. For example, I can play Read Dead Redemption 2 for hours without a problem, but if I start fighting an NPC character during a fist fight scene, my PC goes offline and comes back online almost instantly. This is so confusing! I tried updating my BIOS, updated all my drivers, bought a new power supply unit, bought a new CPU, bought new RAM, and started using Windows again with a fresh account. Even though the temperature readings look fine throughout these changes, the nature of the shut downs has changed. Before, the PC wasn't even shutting down; it was just restarting. Now, the PC stays shut off for a few seconds before coming back online. This is really frustrating to me. I appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thanks!

Welcome to the forums, newbie! The only thing you haven't changed is the motherboard, and I'm thinking maybe those VRMs on the board could be causing trouble. Give a fan point at them and see if things get better. Updated BIOS Version: For this chat to make sense, tell us which version of your BIOS it has. Using a brand new Windows account So you didn't just reinstall the system in offline mode? Speaking of systems, what kind of OS are you running on here? 7800XT You told me about the GPU chip, so what AIB card do you have? Some manufacturers ship their cards with factory overclocks already built-in. Updated all my drivers I hope you didn't use a third-party app to update them. If that's true, it might be your problem. Temps are okay Anyway, how are you cooling down the processor?

Thanks for replying. I don't know much about computers so please wait. My BIOS is version 5021 and my OS is Windows 11. I'm not sure what you mean by reinstalling the system in "offline mode." All I know is that I reinstalled Windows without deleting any of my files. Also, I tested my computer while using a new Windows user to make sure there isn't any software I had installed on my main account causing problems. I did not use any third-party apps for my drivers; I updated them manually. I am cooling my CPU with a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE.
